Thrilling Temescal Canyon Loop, located in Temescal Gateway Park, is a moderate-level workout along with stunning Pacific Ocean and canyon views and is one of the most popular parks in the Santa Monica Mountains. The park encompasses 141 acres of oak and sycamore canyons, ridgetop views, and access to miles of trails in Topanga State Park, Will Rogers State Historic Park, and the 20,000-acre “Big Wild.”The basic dimensions of the loop is 4.0 miles with 1,000 feet of elevation gain and has amazing views of the Ocean and Santa Monica mountains.

A pretty tough 2-2.5 hour hike. (about 4.0 miles). Bring water and sunscreen. Sorry, no dogs are allowed and this would be pretty strenuous for kids.
