Come join the Team for a hike to Mandeville Canyon in beautiful Brentwood. This hike has 2 levels of difficulty with with an easier fire road next to a more challenging hill climb. Either way you will get a workout in. Feel free to bring your dog on a leash. We’ll grab lunch afterwards at Brentwood Country Market (nice food court).
The highlights of this hike include: Great views of West LA and Santa Monica bay as well as an old Military missile defense station that still exists that has a great observation tower.
We were thrilled to have Big Mike lead us for an early morning workout in Santa Monica before our company meetings began at a nearby hotel. We were very pleased with his class and will definitely look to him for future events. All of our guests (including some out-of-towners) had a great time getting active along different scenic spots on the beach and were still talking about (and feeling!) it the next day.

Even though we all train in “sunny” Santa Monica, Winter and Fall temps can make it occasionally necessary to insulate for a chilly beach boot camp workout. But while parkas are Winter essentials in snow country, layering that much bulk on your body in California "weather" can lead to an uncomfortable, sweaty boot camp. Conversely, dressing like it's 20 degrees warmer than it is will help ensure you don't over-layer, but can also bring on the cold. With all that said, here are 10 Essential Workout Gear tips for Big Mike's Boot Camp.Read More

Come join the Team for a hike to the historic Hollywood Sign! The Hollywood Sign is Los Angeles' most iconic symbol, not to mention the most famous sign in the world. Originally erected in 1923 and then rebuilt in 1979, each letter is 50-feet high and 30-feet wide and the full sign spans 450-feet across the 1,675-foot summit of Mount Lee, overlooking the entire LA basin. Located within Griffith Park, an urban wilderness right in the heart of Hollywood, this strenuous, 5-mile hike will lead you to an overlook just above and behind the sign.Read More
Come join your fellow Boot Camp Teammates in trekking to stunning Eagle Rock in Topanga State Park. This 3-4 hour hike is one of my favorites in Los Angeles with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, San Fernando Valley and beyond. The landscapes are amazing, beautiful big oaks and many animals that are unique to Southern California. You will be blown away by the view, Topanga State Park is the largest wild property within city limits in the world. We’ll be having lunch afterwards at Pat’s Topanga Grill. Definitely a great way to start off the summer! Please RSVP at least 1 day in advance, see you there!Read More
