I love, love, love this boot camp and Big Mike.  I lost 10 pounds in 2 months, and I missed a few of the workouts (despite myself!)  

You start with a very intelligent application process that lets Big Mike know your fitness level and state of health, your goals, and any issues you want to bring up. Then he gives you an hour long orientation in which he teaches you proper form, the basic warm up and then puts you through a mini work out.  

The workouts are Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  There is nothing like lying on the sand on these weekday mornings knowing my friends and colleagues are sitting at their desks or in traffic!  It is so beautiful on the Santa Monica beach in the morning, you forget you are working out.

The workouts are fun, fast-paced, and kick your a**!  Mike changes them frequently so you never get bored.  

Big Mike also gives you a diet plan to help you lose weight.  It sure worked for me!

Did I mention the other people there?  My fellow boot campers are some really nice, dedicated, and sweat and sand-covered people!  They might just be the icing on the cake (with sand in it?? Eeeww).  

What else? Oh yeah - you get to crawl though sand, run through sand, jump on sand, and a whole bunch of other messy activities.  But then you can jump in the ocean.

There's dolphins swimming by most mornings.
